Meet Dakota
Dakota is a dedicated real estate professional proudly serving Central Illinois as a member of the Jessica Shaffer Real Estate Team. As a member of the National Association of Realtors®, Illinois Realtors®, and the Capital Area Association of Realtors®, Dakota is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and client care.
Born and raised primarily in Central Illinois, Dakota has a deep understanding of the local communities, while also bringing a unique perspective from time spent living in Central Florida during his childhood. His strong connection to the area allows him to provide valuable insight to buyers and sellers navigating the local market.
In addition to real estate, Dakota works full-time as a service engineer and owns Shaffer Family Tree Care, where he has developed extensive knowledge of trees, land, and property care—an asset when evaluating homes, lots, and outdoor spaces.
Dakota is a proud husband to Jessica Shaffer, and a father of three young children. He values faith, family, and community, and is actively involved at Athens Christian Church. Outside of work, you’ll often find him fishing, lifting weights, or enjoying cookouts with family and friends.
